Use our Ask a Librarian service via the Service Desk to ask about anything related to using the library services.

We’ll send you an email response within 24 hours – or within 72 hours if you send your question on a Friday or during the weekend.

An out of hours Ask a Librarian chat service is available overnight from 7pm – 9am UK time. Librarians from other areas of the world will answer your questions.

You can ask:

  • how to find the information you need
  • advice on how to use the library resources
  • information about the libraries and their facilities

Note that our Ask a Librarian service cannot help you with your University log-in details – you’ll need to contact the Service Desk for help.
