Residence Halls

The University has four student residence halls: Furness, Juniper, Pine and Spruce.

Each residential student is provided with a twin-size extra-long bed, a dresser, a desk and a chair. Each apartment contains a bathroom and a kitchen equipped with a microfridge and cabinets. All residence halls are non-smoking facilities. Public Safety officers staff the front desk of each hall 24 hours a day.

Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 7:00am-4:00pm the University residence halls open for incoming students and the start of New Student Orientation. Returning student move starts at 8:00am on Saturday, August 26, 2017.

Our on-campus housing offers apartment-style living in Center City Philadelphia. Not only are you close to classes and the dining hall, you are close to some of the most historic and trendy parts of the city. When you live on campus, you will meet people who impact your life in tremendous ways. It’s where you’ll have the opportunity to express your art, share your ideas and make a difference in the campus and city community.

Safety is a priority at UArts and each building has a Public Safety Officer at the front desk 24 hours a day.

First year students, who live on campus, are required to participate in the Platinum meal plan. Visit the Dining Services page for more information.
