The Open University in the South West
The Open University Bristol, The South West regional staff club is healthy, productive club, we organise keep fit sessions, twice a week with a trainer, whilst on other days we use keepfit videos and we also have a lunchtime running group.
We are keen fundraisers, supporting Red Nose Day, a local hospice and colleagues who take part in various sponsored events such as half marathons.
We have a number of lunch time talks, on subjects as diverse as Bristol poet Thomas Chatterton, the SS Great Britain and Zoo conservation.
The south west regional members are also keen theatre goers, Dirty dancing and Opera being the shows most recently attended, and several of us also had Indian cookery lessons.
