Newman University Housing

At the heart of the student experience

We appreciate that where you live is an important factor in deciding where to study. Student accommodation will be your first opportunity to live independently, and we strive to provide a welcoming environment where you can feel instantly at home.

We have a range of exciting accommodation options, including brand new halls of residence being built for December 2017. Each of our halls of residence are located on campus, giving you the opportunity to feel a part of our active student community, and providing easy access to our on-site facilities.  If you would like to stay in the new accommodation, alternative arrangements will be made for the first semester to ensure you have accommodation when you start university.

Our Accommodation Options

Moving away from home is a fun and enriching part of your university experience, where you can gain independence, enjoy social events and form friendships that will last a lifetime.

All of our halls are conveniently located on-campus, meaning you are just a short walk away from your lectures.

We know that choosing your accommodation can be a daunting decision, so our friendly and helpful accommodation team are here to provide you with the support and information you need as you plan your home for the next three years.

Brand new halls

Newman University is currently investing in a £22 million campus redevelopment, including brand new high-quality halls. There will be 108 en-suite bedrooms available, with open plan living space with fully integrated kitchen, sofas and a TV.

The halls will be available from January 2018.  Alternative accommodation will be provided in existing halls for the first semester until the new halls are completed.

Edgbaston, Littlemore, Maryvale & Oxford Halls

As a cheaper alternative you may wish to live in one of our other halls of residence, located in the centre of our campus.

We offer a range of different options – shared bathroom facilities, ensuite bedrooms and a limited number of disabled ensuite bedrooms.

If you would like to take a look at our accomodation, please register for an open day, where you can view a show flat in our existing halls.
