Ceramics Studio

This studio is equipped for working in a range of ceramic materials, reflecting those found in Primary Schools whilst ensuring quality materials for student work. Casting, moulding and throwing facilities are available. The specialist caged firing area is equipped with electric kilns capable of taking work up to a cubic metre in size. A smaller kiln, typical of those found in primary schools, is available for students to learn firing techniques, commensurate with their role as primary school teachers.

Painting Studio

In this studio, work is undertaken in oil, acrylic and a range of found materials. The studio is equipped with easels, drawing-boards, tracing tables, a small etching press, and storage facilities, including plan chests for student work. There is a small episcope and overhead projector for enlarging work. Flexible use of studio space allows it to suit different needs and applications.

Textiles Studio

In this studio, students can produce photographic and manual silk screens for use in fabric printing. The studio is also equipped with three embroidery machines, heat transfer processes, block printing facilities and silk painting equipment.

Computer Room

This designated computer room is equipped with Photoshop for digital work.
