Successful completion of HKDSE OR good passes in three Hong Kong A Levels

Postgraduate Courses

Good Bachelor degree

MPhil/PhD

Good Master’s degree

English Language Requirements

The following Hong Kong qualifications satisfy the University’s minimum English language requirements: HKDSE English Language (Grade 3) / HKCEE English (Grade C) / Hong Kong AS Level Use of English (Grade C). Alternatively;

Undergraduate courses

For Undergraduate courses, we usually ask for IELTS 6.0 (No less than 5.5 in any section) or equivalent.

Postgraduate courses

For Postgraduate courses, we usually ask for IELTS 6.5 (No less than 5.5 in any section) or equivalent.

If you have studied UK qualifications such as A Levels, you can calculate your UCAS Tariff points then check the individual course descriptions to see if you meet requirements. You can also find the minimum IB scores required by checking these descriptions.
