In the highly competitive dance landscape you need a range of skills. The performance-based BA (Hons) Dance at Hull College equips you with the vocational skills you need to work as a dancer, to own a dance company, or become a teacher of dance to a spectrum of people.
Incorporating European dance theatre practice and technique alongside choreography practice, you’ll learn many aspects of dance performance, including non-conventional spaces, outdoor spaces, conceptual performances and live art, with the Digital Bodies module enhancing performance with digital. You’ll also cover essential skills such as setting up a company, fundraising, and events management to give you the opportunity to become a dance entrepreneur.
Taught by a team of dance practitioners and academics, the BA (Hons) Dance degree grounds you with the employability skills that you need once you graduate.
