Students’ Union Societies

Students Union LogoSocieties are a great way to meet new people and share a common interest. Societies represent the interests of students, so whether its martial arts, computer games, films, charity, culture, campaigning or religion that you are interested in there is a society you can join.

The list of societies is always expanding, take a look and see what takes your fancy. Once you’ve decided which society you want to join then send them an email and introduce yourself. Most societies hold regular meetings and the chairperson will tell you where the next meeting is being held.

Can’t find what you’re looking for? Then why not set up your own society. You only need 10 people to join you and you can become an official Union society. All the information is on our website or pop into City Campus and speak to a member of staff who will take you through how to get your society upand running.

Societies are the best way to make the most of your free time while you’re studying. They can take a lot of the trouble out of making friends‌ and exploring your interests.
