This course provides the first part, to a superb standard, and it also helps you towards the second, as many professional bodies will grant you significant exemptions from their exams when you have a Stirling degree.
Accountancy and Finance
The Bachelor of Accountancy (BAcc) in Accountancy and Finance course is designed specifically for students planning a career in the Accountancy profession and/or the wider financial sector. Apart from the additional finance content which offers a specialisation for entering the professions in the banking and investment industries, the main difference from the single Bachelor of Accountancy (BAcc) course is that there is no requirement to do a dissertation in Semester 8.
The Bachelor of Accountancy (BAcc) in Accountancy and Finance degree is also accredited by ICAS, CIMA, CIPFA and ACCA who will grant you significant exemptions from their exams when you have a Stirling degree.
The Business Studies course at Stirling provides a flexible yet focused learning experience. You will build a strong knowledge base and master the skills and competencies to form a foundation from which managerial expertise can develop throughout your working life.

The Sport Business Management course is designed to meet the sporting industry’s requirement for technically competent, customer oriented, commercially minded practitioners who have the flexibility and capability to apply their skills and knowledge in a variety of customer orientated environments, both for the domestic and the international market place.
