Accountancy
Keen to become an accountant? Then you’ll know you ideally need both a university degree and a recognised professional qualification.
This course provides the first part, to a superb standard, and it also helps you towards the second, as many professional bodies will grant you significant exemptions from their exams when you have a Stirling degree.
Accountancy and Finance

The Bachelor of Accountancy (BAcc) in Accountancy and Finance course is designed specifically for students planning a career in the Accountancy profession and/or the wider financial sector. Apart from the additional finance content which offers a specialisation for entering the professions in the banking and investment industries, the main difference from the single Bachelor of Accountancy (BAcc) course is that there is no requirement to do a dissertation in Semester 8.
The Bachelor of Accountancy (BAcc) in Accountancy and Finance degree is also accredited by ICAS, CIMA, CIPFA and ACCA who will grant you significant exemptions from their exams when you have a Stirling degree.
