University of St Andrews Younger Hall

The Music Centre is based in the Younger Hall.  This large building houses a concert hall seating up to 1,000 people and is the main concert venue in St Andrews. It hosts performances by professional and amateur musicians, including regular visits by the University’s Orchestra in Residence the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, a series of chamber music concerts by internationally renowned artists, weekly Wednesday lunchtime concerts, jazz nights and much more. The hall can also be hired for a range of events.

Younger Hall

Younger Hall is located on North street in the town centre of St Andrews and has a capacity of 968 set out theatre-style. This hall is St Andrews’ main concert venue, hosting performances by professional and amateur musicians and can be hired for a range of events. The hall features an advanced lighting and sound system, a piano and disabled access.

Conference room

The conference room in Younger Hall has a capacity of 60. This room has an overhead projector and a flip-chart easel and can be set out informally or in theatre-style.

Stewart room

The Stewart room in Younger Hall has a capacity of 50. This room has a lot of natural sunlight and also features black-out blinds, a telephone extension and a grand piano.
