University of Sheffield GP
All students of the University are entitled to register with the University Health Service for NHS care, from a Sheffield address, but dependants can only be accepted if they live within the practice boundary and are resident in UK
The University Health Service is an NHS, PMS General Practice (9 Doctors working in partnership), which offers full GP services to all students at the University of Sheffield (and living in Sheffield) if they choose to register, and their dependents (if they live within the practice boundary – see Practice Boundary Map below).
The University Health Service is a modern, friendly practice, situated on the corner of Gell Street and Glossop Road. The Practice at Gell Street has disabled access plus a lift to the upper floor.
The 2014 iGraduate Student Barometer placed the University Health Service first in the Russell Group for overall student satisfaction (International and Home) at 92%.

Parking at the University Health Service is limited to disabled patients only. There are a number of University car parks close by.

It is a contractual requirement for practices to publish on their website the mean earnings for GPs.
The average pay for GPs working at the University Health Service in the financial year 2015/16 before tax and National Insurance was £78,225. This is for 9 Full-time GPs, 2 part-time GPs and 3 locum doctors.
