University of London E-Learning Courses
How you study
Studying with us is a challenging yet rewarding experience. Our flexible approach offers you a range of study options.
- You can study by online and flexible learning, which allows you to combine work with your studies.
- Alternatively, you can study full-time with local teaching support.
Our study methods will give you an in-depth knowledge of your chosen subject. You will also develop transferable skills that are highly valued by employers, such as independent thinking, analytical skills, and time-management skills.
Study independently or with local tuition
All of our courses are designed to be studied independently. However, if you prefer structured study support, you can attend classes for many of our undergraduate programmes at a local teaching centre.
Classes are available on a full or part-time basis, including evenings and weekends. Of course, it is possible to pass your exams without attending local classes.
Do I have to come to London as part of my studies?
You can study for your degree anywhere in the world. You can also sit examinations in most countries. (Check the list of examination centres for your nearest centre.) There is no requirement to come to London.
Some programmes offer optional study sessions in London, which you will be invited to attend as a registered student.
Can I transfer to study in the UK?
Our qualifications are well-respected around the world and are recognised by a wide range of universities for transfer or for the ‘1+2 programme’. Under these schemes, you study for the first year of your degree in your home country, then complete your degree on campus at a UK university.
Some UK universities have special admissions arrangements for second-year entry from our courses, including Kingston, Surrey, Sheffield, and Westminster.
You need to apply direct to the university at which you would like to study.
