University of London Boat House

The University of London Boat House is situated in a scenic and secluded area of Chiswick, London. It has good overland railway connections to London Waterloo and plenty of parking available on the site – which is about an acre and a half and completely self contained and behind lockable gates. The facility is used for many activities. If you would like to use the site please contact adminulbh@gmail.com in the first instance.

ULBH’s location on the river is one of the safer spots.  In addition, as the most upriver Boathouse on the Tideway we have good access to the less busy parts above Richmond Lock and the stretch in front of the Boathouse is calm enough to row on in most weather conditions.

For training camps or brief visits before Head-races on the Tideway, we can provide dormitory accommodation for 12 and mattresses for a further 6. There is a gym, ergo room, club room and we can either provide food or some access to a kitchen. We do not provide bed-linen.

For boats and equipment, trailers can be stored on site and racks can normally be made available for boats. Coaching launches are available for hire.
