Professional Practice and Management in Architecture (RIBA Part 3) PgCert
The application of skill and knowledge at a professional level in the practice of architecture, in today’s society, forms the central focus of the course.
At the final stage in qualification as an architect, successful completion of this course will enable you to be able to examine your obligations and responsibilities, and demonstrate your competence, professional awareness, knowledge and ability in the contexts of architectural practice, the management of architecture, the management of construction, the procurement of buildings, architectural practice management and building legislation.
University of Huddersfield Part 3, Entry requirements
Entrants to this RIBA part 3 award must first gain (or obtain exemption from) the RIBA part 1 and part 2 Examinations in Architecture and must complete a period of 24 months professional training (recorded with the RIBA PEDR) before they sit the final examination.

The course comprises a single module : Professional Practice and Management in Architecture.
Whilst working in architectural practice, you will prepare a detailed case study of a live project on which you have been working and prepare a personal evaluation of your professional experience.
The year culminates in a block course at the University followed by a final examination in the Professional Practice and Management of Architecture, successful completion of which relates to registration as an Architect and chartered membership of the RIBA.
