What do I need to bring?

You need to remember to bring:

  1. The original (or certified copies) of certificates for all relevant qualifications listed on your UCAS form plus a photocopied set which the University will keep. Any originals will be returned to you at interview.
  2. Photographic proof of ID eg. passport or driving licence
  3. Original or certified copy of birth certificate (please also bring a photocopy of this which we will keep)

Please note that we may not be able to progress your application further without seeing your certificates.

What will happen on the day?

You will be asked to complete some written work, a group task and an individual interview.

What are we looking for?

Knowledge and understanding of the profession, good communication skills, effective team working and motivation to follow this career.

Additional information

A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be carried out once you accept our offer, unless you let us know about any criminal record either on your UCAS form or at the selection day, in which case the DBS check will be done immediately. If you are made an offer an Occupational Health questionnaire will be sent to you so that we can confirm that you are able to undertake the course.
