University of Huddersfield International Week

International Week takes place during term 1 and term 2 of the Academic year.

The University’s annual week celebration inclusion, diversity, education and friendships. Over 20 activities hosted by the University’s international student societies and staff allowed the campus to come together and celebrate each other’s backgrounds while learning something new along the way. What is it?

A whole week on campus of cultural celebration, inclusion and fun. There are lots of events, activities for everybody to get involved with or host. Each year you have the opportunity to get involved with sports tournaments, food festivals, film festivals, cultural events, workshops, support, advice, trips and prize giving’s. The week allows students from the UK and around the world to showcase their countries, cultures and make friends along the way.

INTERNATIONAL Week at the University of Huddersfield brings students from home and abroad together for a week-long cultural festival. An annual highlight of the students’ event calendar, this festival is now in its sixth year.‌

All staff and students are welcome to attend ‘International Week‘ which takes place in the first week of March. There are lots of events and activities for everybody to get involved with and discover from.

The University has over 3,000 international students from 120 countries. With nearly 60 international student societies taking part in ‘International Week’, this much anticipated cultural festival creates a vibrant atmosphere on campus.‌

The festival is organised by the University’s international student societies and sponsored by the International Office and has become one of the cornerstones of the institutions social calendar.
