University of Huddersfield Bursary Information

The School of Music, Humanities and Media offers a limited number of taught Masters fee-waiver bursaries of £2000 each. Generally, the criteria for award relate to academic progress and achievement but motivation and future career intentions also play a part in their award. The bursary is only available to those funding their own studies.

You will be automatically considered for the bursary when you apply for a taught Masters course. Please address the criteria established for your particular course. Course leaders are able to provide details.

There will be two rounds, one with a deadline of 1 July. After that, subject to availability of bursaries being awarded and the quality of applicants after that date there will be another round closing on 1 September.

Graduates holding an Upper Second Class or First Class Honours Degree from the University of Huddersfield are offered a £500 progression (fee waiver) bursary. If entering your Masters course in the year of graduation this is provided through a University of Huddersfield progression bursary. If there is a gap between graduation and entry on to your Masters course, this is a discretionary School loyalty bursary. You may only receive one bursary.
