Bookshop Opening Times

The bookshop is now closed for the summer and re-opens at 9.30am on Monday 4th September. You can still buy, sell and uplift books and collect funds for sold books via the Welcome Point.  Please e-mail us in advance to do this.  Whilst the bookshop is unstaffed, we will endeavour to reply to emails within 3 working days.

Reservations

We can reserve books for a limited time when the bookshop is not busy.

People wishing to sell books

Please email the bookshop at: bookshop@src.gla.ac.uk with a list of the books you wish to sell including the title, year of publication and edition number, one of the staff will reply within a few days to let you know if they are able to take all your titles. This will save you carrying books into us, which you may need to take back. When you have received a response, please bring your books to the bookshop.

People wishing to buy books

You can come to the bookshop during the opening times listed above and check our shelves for your course books and other books of interest.  Books are sold on a first come, first served basis during September and October but outside of this very busy period you may reserve books. Please check our database at www.glasgowstudent.net/services/bookshop/find-a-book  and then email us with the details of what you wish to reserve. We can often hold books for you for three days.

For anyone wishing to collect funds

There are six weeks from early September to mid-October when we do not pay out for sold books as the service is extremely busy.
