University of East London Fees

The tuition fees for new UK/EU students starting in 2017 are typically:
  • Full-time: £9,250 per year.
  • Part-time: £2,310 per 30 credit module.
  • Placement year: £1,000 per year.

There are some costs associated with studying abroad. Find out below what you can expect to spend during your time at UEL – for tuition, for rent and for your visa.

International Exchange / Erasmus+ / ISEP
Students who study abroad at UEL either on an international exchange, through the Erasmus+ programme, or through ISEP, do not have to pay any extra tuition fee – instead you continue paying your regular tuition fee to your home university.

STUDY ABROAD WITH FEES

European Union Students – One Term

  • Fee: £4,625
  • Payments: 60% deposit to be paid before or at enrolment. The remaining fee can be paid in four equal monthly instalments after enrolment.

European Union Students – One Year

  • Fee: £9,250
  • Payments: 60% deposit to be paid before or at enrolment. The remaining fee can be paid in four equal monthly instalments after enrolment.

International Students – One Term (All International students)

  • Fee: £5,720
  • Payments: 60% deposit to be paid before or at enrolment. The remaining fee can be paid in four equal monthly instalments after enrolment.

International Students – One Year (International students excluding students from Norway)

  • Fee: £11,440
  • Payments: 50% deposit to be paid in advance. The remaining fee can be paid in five monthly instalments, with the first instalment due at enrolment. Please note that we cannot issue your CAS Number (which you will need to apply for a Tier 4 Student Visa) until the 50% deposit is paid.

International Students – One Year (International students from Norway)

  • Fee: £10,400
  • Payments: 60% deposit to be paid before or at enrolment. The remaining fee can be paid in four equal monthly instalments after enrolment.

ACCOMMODATION

  • Accommodation is available in our stylish and modern halls of residence which are all located in the secure Docklands Campus.
  • All rooms are en-suite and have a high-speed internet connection and telephone line for incoming calls. Find out more about our accommodation options.

INSURANCE 

  • All students must have adequate insurance before leaving their home country. The insurance policy must cover the cost of repatriation to your home country in the case of serious illness or injury. We cannot recommend particular insurance policies or companies but there are lots to choose from that are good value for money.

VISA

  • Visa regulations in the UK change regularly.
