We cover a variety of different strands of computer science, ranging from traditional programmes to more unusual and innovative courses. So if you are passionate about computer science, then we have a course to suit you.The curriculum draws heavily on both our research expertise and industrial experience. Course content is enriched by the internationally recognised work of our research groups and the industrial expertise provided by Seed Software, our in-house commercial software development unit. You can therefore benefit from both cutting edge research and the hard-won experience of professional software engineers.

Our BSc degrees are accredited by the British Computer Society (BCS), meaning you gain full exemption from the BCS’s Professional Examination as well as partial CEng accreditation. This is the highest BCS award that undergraduate courses can achieve.
