The work of chemists has a massive impact on our lives through the design, evaluation and production of everyday medicines, pesticides, clothing, foods and advanced materials for the 21st-century’s hi-tech industries.Taught by staff with a reputation as world leaders in their field, including members of the pioneering liquid crystal display (LCD) research team, you will acquire the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to pursue a career in this exciting field of science. Part-time courses

We offer a three year part-time distance learning programme that leads to a nationally recognised FdSc Chemical Sciences.

Students can then progress to two further years of part-time day release studying BSc Chemistry (top-up).
