Applying for undergraduate study
Full-time undergraduate degrees
If you wish to apply for a full-time undergraduate course you need to submit your application via UCAS, the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service. Your school or college is most likely to be registered with UCAS and your teachers or careers adviser would be able to help you with your application.
You can find course names and course codes for all our undergraduate programmes on the UCAS website using their search tool. Make sure you enter the correct course code on your application form. The institution code that you need to use is HUDDS H60.
Not at school or college?
If you’re not at school or college but are based in the UK/EU you can still apply through UCAS independently. The ‘UCAS Undergraduate: Apply and Track‘ webpage provides full instructions on the application process including a comprehensive guide to applying online.
If you are an applicant from outside the UK/EU you can apply to the University independently unless your school or college is registered with UCAS. Further help and advice may be available from your local British Council office and/or other education centres in your own country. More information about applying as an international candidate is available on our international webpages or you can apply directly using our online international students application form.
- UK and EU applicants – if you’re planning to start your course in September, UCAS will accept your application from September the previous year. All applications received through UCAS on or before 15 January of the year of study will be considered equally
- International applicants – make sure your application form is received by UCAS by the end of January of the year you want to start. Places on popular courses cannot be guaranteed for applications received after 15 of January. You should allow plenty of time to make immigration, travel and accommodation arrangements
If you miss the 15 January deadline don’t panic, you can still apply for most of our courses. Give us a call on +44 (0)1484 473969 or email firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can advise you on your best application route.
Applications made after the 15 January of the year of study will only be considered if a course still has vacancies.
If you have missed the 15 January deadline you can still apply to us, find out what your options are.
