How do I find information for my studies?
The library gives you access to a great deal of information you can use in your studies. These pages will help you develop the skills you need to make the best of out the world of information and help you succeed in your academic studies at the University
Are you a new student? You may need to activate your network account before you can log in.
If you have joined the library under one of our Public Membership Schemes, you should be able to log into your library account using your 10 digit library barcode and pin number.

By logging in to this service, you are agreeing to the following Regulations and Policies. If you do not understand any of the Regulations or Policies, or if you do not agree to fully abide by them, then you should not use this service.
Specifically, you must ensure that you keep your login details confidential and you may not allow any third party to use your account. All login attempts are monitored and all suspicious account activity is investigated. In extreme circumstances, your network account may be disabled.
The exernal online subscription resources made available to you by the library may also have their own separate terms & conditions and you are encouraged to read them.
Ask a Librarian
Use this service to ask a librarian questions about using the Library resources, or any of the electronic information resources to which we subscribe. Simply fill in a web form and send your question to us.
This service is aimed primarily at members of the University of Huddersfield. However we will also respond to academic queries from outside the University at our discretion, particularly in subject areas where we are particularly strong. We aim to respond to your question within two working days. The response may take longer if the question is complicated.
This service uses QuestionPoint, a global reference service. If our staff are not able to answer your query, they may forward it to another library. Only the information needed to answer the question will be sent and personal information will be removed. Personal information will only be used to respond to your question.
