This very clear and succinct mission statement enables Estates and Facilities to remain totally focused on delivering top class facilities within quality buildings that are constructed, maintained and operated to the highest possible standards. The services delivered on campus will remain customer focused and responsive to the changing needs of the business and the client’s requirements.
Estates and Facilities, Property Services Group, which encompass Property Services, Combined Service Group and the Estates Helpdesk are committed to improving our service delivery and increasing customer satisfaction by ensuring that the services we provide reflect the on-going needs of our customers through our Customer Service Standards.

The Estates Helpdesk Self Service Portal is under development and will be launched later on in 2017. The portal will enable you to report faults, make service requests and keep track of your calls online.

Estates and Facilities are committed to providing high quality accommodation for teaching and learning. The aim of the estate strategy is to develop and maintain the best possible teaching and learning environment for students and staff. The University has completed the process of concentration of its current teaching and learning facilities on the single campus at Queensgate.
Future success in widening access to higher education depends on providing opportunities within areas where participation is low. Taking education to students will become as important as bringing students to education. In partnership with further education colleges and with employers, the University will implement policies to provide higher education closer to the students’ homes.
