Enrolment of Distance Learning Courses
Students enrolling on distance learning courses will need to complete the steps on Your Next Step: our pre-enrolment portal.
Step1: Your Course (available June)
- view course joining information including links to recommended reading lists
- complete individual and career profiles.
- upload photo for University Student ID card.
Step 2: Your Details (available September)
- check personal details
- choose option modules where applicable
- view provisional timetable information
- health centre registration where applicable.
Step 3: Your Fees (available September)
- pay or confirm University fees
When Step 2 has been completed the student status will change from Provisional (P) to New Provisional (NP) on ASIS. Student Finance team will check that student has paid or confirmed how their University fees will be paid and where applicable have paid at least 25% of their tuition fee. They will up-date student status to current (C) where applicable.
ARO will check course lists to see who has enrolled (status C) and print the student ID card. The photo for the student ID card needs to be uploaded via the pre-enrolment portal (Step 1). These will be printed as quickly as possible, but please note there may be a delay during induction week (w/c 21 September 2015).
Process for enrolment to distance learning courses
Student completes steps (1, 2 and 3) on the on-line pre-enrolment portal, Your Next Step. Student must upload photo for student ID card.
Provisional (P) – New Provisional (NP)
Student Finance Office (SFO) checks fees have been paid or confirmation of how fees will be paid and changes status of student from NP – C.
New Provisional (NP) – Current (C)
ARO print student ID Card by batch and sends to school.
School send out University student ID cards to student.
