Business Management and Leadership BA(Hons) 2017-18

Leadership is the ability to inspire and influence a team of people to achieve a common goal. On this course you’ll have the opportunity to specialise in leadership to develop the key business management, leadership and decision making skills needed for today’s dynamic business environment. We’ll provide you with the opportunity to combine contemporary theory with real-world application, learning from leading academics and the cutting-edge expertise of our network of visiting business leaders. We would expect you to have ambitions of becoming a leader of tomorrow. The course covers key business topics to provide a sound knowledge of business while the leadership, managing change and innovation modules will focus on specialist skills and knowledge to be a successful business leader.We work closely with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and you have the opportunity to achieve a CMI Level 6 Diploma in Management and Leadership through no additional study or assessment. Your employability skills will gain a real boost from the ability to work with our HR professionals to improve your interview techniques and experience the latest recruitment tools such as e-portfolios, apps and video CVs.

Entry requirements

Entry requirements for this course are normally one of the following:

•  BBB at A Level

•  DDM BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma

•  120 UCAS tariff points from a combination of Level 3 qualifications

•  Access to Higher Education Diploma with 45 Level 3 credits at Merit or above

•  International Baccalaureate with an overall score of 31 points
