University of the Highlands and Islands Student Union

The Highlands and Islands Students’ Association (HISA) is the new Students’ Association for UHI and its partners. What makes it so different is that it represents everyone. That means that both Higher and Further Education student are represented regionally by the HISA President, Vice-President for Higher Education and Vice-President for Further Education.

Art and Design Society

Welcome to the HISA/UHI Art and Design Society Page!

This society will be THE hub for all art and design chat, events, and creative ideas, across the University of the Highlands and Islands.

What is the Art and Design Society?

Based at Moray College, we are looking for members from all across the University. So if you are a student interested in anything art/design related, from photography to screen printing to animation, we would love to hear from you! All you need to do to join the Society is fill in a Registration Form and send it to . Membership is free, so what are you waiting for?

Why a regional society?

We know there are loads of awesome creatives out there and that it is easier to be creative when you can chat to other like minded students. By becoming a member of this society you will be able to chat to anyone across the University studying anything in the art and design sector. This could lead to lots of exciting projects where you work with other students!

How will we chat to each other?

We are looking into the best way to connect everyone online, so that there is an accessible online platform for everyone to contribute to. Once this is finalised we will have the link to it here.
