Campus tours

A campus tour is the ideal opportunity for you to see our extensive range of lecture theatres, sport centres, libraries, specialist laboratories and computer centres. All tours are conducted by student ambassadors, so you can hear their experiences of studying at the University of Greenwich.

Campus tours take place at Avery Hill and Greenwich Campuses at half hourly intervals throughout the Open Day. At Medway Campus they are at a set time after the talks. All campus tours last no more than one hour.

Specialist tours

A selection of specialist tours are held throughout the day. These are subject specific and are ideal if you wish to see the equipment and resources designed to aid students’ studies. For departure times and locations, please speak to staff at the stand for the School that you are interested in viewing.

Avery Hill and Greenwich Campus accommodation tours

Take a tour of our student accommodation; this is an ideal opportunity to see examples of the high-quality student rooms and living space in our halls of residence.

The half hourly tour at Avery Hill Campus will take you to a selection of rooms in the Student Village. On Greenwich Campus tours leave every half hour to view the Cutty Sark halls of residence which is just a five minute walk from the campus gates. From the Greenwich Campus, you can also take a bus to see the McMillan Student Village. This bus returns to the campus within an hour.

Medway Campus accommodation tours are combined with the general campus tour and run at a specific time after the talks and other activities have been completed.

Most accommodation tours last between 30 and 60 minutes.

Note: If you are planning to study at the Greenwich Campus it is also worth visiting the Avery Hill Student Village, as many of our Greenwich students live there.
