The aim of a placement

A placement enables students to apply their knowledge and acquire practical experience during undergraduate study time. A placement will help you develop key skills, including personal and interpersonal skills, communication, numeracy, problem solving, a positive attitude towards change, values and personal integrity, and an understanding of the world of work.

“I managed to secure an internship at IBM UK, which I considered a great feature in my university career. The guidance given to me by the Placements Office, in this regard, under the Sandwich Programme scheme was greatly appreciated. My interpersonal skills and self-confidence have soared equipping me for any business and professional undertaking. Indeed, the experience I have had at the University of Greenwich is truly magnificent and one I will treasure for life.”
