Summer Schools

Every year in July, we host two summer schools – one for Year 12 students and one for Year 10 students.

Both are FREE of charge and include food, accommodation and travel.

Year 12 Live & Learn Residential

for Year 12 or equivalent students to find our more about higher education

This year the residential will give students the opportunity to discover their potential subject in more detail. Students have the opportunity to take part in academic taster sessions, as well as getting invaluable advice and guidance on applying to university, whilst staying in en-suite halls of residence.

Duration: Four days

When: 9th-12th July 2017

Who: Year 12 students. Priority will be given to students from Compact partners but applications are welcome from all students who meet the entry criteria.

Number of Places: 60

Subjects Covered: Art & Design, Business, Computing and Media.

Supporting Information: Careers, finance and student life are all up for discussion during the week.

Accommodation: En-suite individual rooms provided at Oxstalls campus, Gloucester.

Catering: Fully catered

Cost: FREE

Year 10 Summer School

for Year 10 students attending one of our compact partner schools.

Launched in 2004, the Year 10 Summer School has proved to be a great success year on year, allowing students to experience living and studying at university. Pupils will partake in a variety of subject tasters and HE aspiring workshops, whilst working alongside current students.

Duration: Four days

When: 19th-22nd July 2017

Who: Year 10 students from compact partners schools, who meet the entry criteria.

Number of Places: 60
