University of Gloucestershire Notable Alumni
Enrolling as a student at the university is just the beginning of a lifelong relationship that is important to us both. After graduation you can stay involved with the university, and your fellow alumni, by being a positive ambassador, offering mentoring to current students.
Membership of alumni is free and open to all graduates, former staff and students who have studied at the University of Gloucestershire.
Alumni are also able to support former and current students in a wide range of ways including:
- networking opportunities
- careers advice
- work placements
- volunteering opportunities
- donating to fundraising campaigns

Making a donation
Whether it’s your time, your expertise or your money, all donations make a difference.

The library development fund
A campaign to develop our library’s resources As we grow, so too do the demands of our students for the latest, high quality electronic resources and books. Your support will help to purchase specialist books and journals. Donate to the library development fund.

Initiated by the Chaplaincy at the University and funded entirely from voluntary donations, your support will help us to develop a network of trained sport, development and outreach workers in Malawi, helping them to use sport to tackle issues such as poverty, gender, inequality, education and preventable diseases, such as Malaria and HIV. Donate to the Sport Malawi fund.
St Paul and St Mary student fund
The University of Gloucestershire continues to celebrate the colleges from which it inherited its tradition for delivering first class teacher training. Your donations will help students by providing scholarships and bursaries for those encountering hardship and for those demonstrating excellence in a particular subject. Previous donations have allowed students to undertake placements, to access coaching, to purchase equipment and to participate in national and international competitive events. Donate to the St Paul and St Mary student fund.

Friends of the Special Collections and Archives
Raising funds for archive equipment, conservation work and the purchase of special collections and archive material. Your donation will help to preserve our collections and support learning, teaching and research. Donate to the Friends of the Special Collections and Archives fund.
Many of our students have benefitted from the generosity of alumni and friends of the University. Bursaries and awards have enabled them to advance their studies and to take advantage of opportunities which would otherwise not have been available to them.
If you would like to make a bequest for the benefit of the University and its students, we would be delighted to discuss opportunities with you. We are unable to offer legal or financial advice, but we are happy to answer general queries about gifts and legacies.
