Master the art of persuasion by working with real clients in advertising and gain a Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) accredited degree, recognised by major employers. You will explore subjects such as consumer behaviour, marketing communications and the global business environment in you first year. Increase your understanding of the role of marketing in the commercial world while engaging with businesses of all sizes throughout your study. With an emphasis on real-world skills and projects, this course has a strong vocational focus.

The MSc Marketing is designed to develop your understanding and competence in marketing. You will study a range of core and developing topics in this customer-orientated business discipline. You will develop a strong understanding of how marketing interacts with and contributes to other key business areas within an organisation. Understanding customers, marketing communication, marketing research, international strategic marketing, e-marketing and brand marketing are all integral to this degree.

Standard academic assignments are paired with employment-related ‘problem solving’ style assessments allowing students to apply the theoretical underpinning of their marketing to practice. Students are provided with opportunities to work on real business scenarios within their modules.

Study style

100% coursework. The course culminates in a dissertation or a marketing case project, enabling you to specialise in an area of marketing that you find particularly fascinating, and which you may wish to pursue in your marketing career.
