This is the official page for the University of Gloucestershire’s Your Future Plan Week which will take place between 23 – 27 January 2017.

Whether you’re a first year preparing for a presentation or a final year getting set for that first graduate job interview, you’ll want to have the confidence to stand out from the crowd and be tech savvy.

With an inspiring session from Google and motivating speaker from The Apprentice, as well as a host of top skills workshops, a Google Digital Garage Masterclass, a digital and IT skills conference, free professional LinkedIn photos for your profile and a full ‘Give it a Go’ programme from your Students’ Union, the week will be action-packed.

Whatever your subject, whatever your year, Your Future Plan Week: Future You will help you get closer to that all-inclusive ticket to a successful career.

If you’re looking to meet new people and fill up your social calendar, why not get involved with our clubs and societies? It’s a great way to try out a new sport or activity. You can also become the club president or social secretary to really make yourself stand out from the crowd.


Use your time at university to volunteer and show the world what a rounded, ambitious and exceptional person you are. With more than 10,000 hours of volunteering on offer a year, you’ll have the opportunity to enhance your CV and gain invaluable experiences.


More than 3000 of our students complete a work placement or internship every year. From local companies to global powerhouses, you can start developing your career during your degree. The connections can help set you up for your next step after graduation.
