Queen Margaret residence provides en suite, self-catered accommodation mainly to undergraduate students. The self-contained flats contain single study en suite bedrooms and a common dining/kitchen area.

This residence is managed in partnership with Sanctuary Housing Association.  All processing of applications and allocations will be handled by the University of Glasgow thereby retaining its role as landlord to student residents.  The University of Glasgow continues to be responsible for student welfare and the collection of rent.

Making your application

Prior to making an application for accommodation, all applicants are advised to read our Admissions Policy.

Once you have been notified by one of the University’s schools that you have been made an offer for a course of study here – whether conditionally or unconditionally and you have accepted that offer, you may apply for accommodation.

What you must do next will depend on whether you have been offered an unconditional or a conditional offer at Glasgow, or if you are a non-graduating EU exchange student.
