The Software Center installed on Windows PC’s managed directly by University of Exeter.  A range of alternative software for Mac OS X and Personal Windows PC’s is available via the Home Software Hub.

You can find the Software Center by searching for “software” in your Windows Start Menu

Software Center - launch

Once you have loaded the Software Center, scroll down on the Available Software tab and tick the box next to the software you want to load then click on Install Selected

Software Center - Available Software

Wait a few minutes, and then check on the Installation Status tab to see progress.  If needed, it will tell here you if you need to log off to complete the installation. For most software installs, you won’t need to log off.

For anyone that cannot find the Software Center in the Start Menu, a repair of the SCCM client on your machine is required to bring the Software Center back again.  To request this, please contact SID
