January Orientation 2017 for new international students

January Orientation is held on 16 January for all new international students, Erasmus and International Exchange students who will be studying with us for semester 2 onwards. It is important that you attend the programme as you get to find out all about the University, the support available to you and you will meet your college tutors.

There are certain things you need to do before you come to university to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Exeter based students. This is the 2017 programme of events.

Orientation is free but you must book online and in advance of your arrival.

The British educational system may be very different than at your home university. Our Academic Skills team provides resources to help you with your academic work. This session will introduce you to some key study issues relating to critical reading, academic writing, referencing and getting the most out of lectures and seminars – essential for your study period at the University of Exeter.
