University of East London Wifi

If you have a UEL IT account, please go to your wireless settings and choose ‘UEL’ from the list of available networks. This will give you greater performance and more flexibility than the service accessible through The Cloud, as certain sites (e.g. Moodle) are not accessible through ‘The Cloud’ on campus. For further information on how to connect to the UEL Wi-Fi click here.

If you don’t have a UEL or Eduroam account, please press back on your browser and login through The Cloud registration process.

University of East London (UEL)

The University of East London (UEL) is a public university in the London Borough of Newham, London, England, based at three campuses in Stratford and Docklands, following the opening of University Square Stratford in September 2013. The university’s roots can be traced back to 1892 when the West Ham Technical Institute was established. It gained university status in 1992. As of October 2015 it has more than 19,000 students from 120 countries.

Campuses

UEL has three campuses, at Stratford and Docklands, the newest of which, University Square Stratford, opened in September 2013. The Barking campus was closed in 2006.

UEL delivers programmes and short courses at the Barking Learning Centre in a nearby borough. Off campus, there are students registered on programmes with UK and non-UK academic partners, such as the Women’s Institute of Management in Malaysia.
