University of East London Distance Learning
At UEL, we recognise there’s no such thing as a ‘typical’ student. Your lifestyle or commitments may make it difficult for you to attend regular classes on campus, but we’re determined that you should have the same access as everyone else.
We offer several Psychology courses by Distance Learning allowing you to study within a structured and supported framework, at a time and place that suits you. You can work towards an academic qualification while maintaining work or family commitments. You control the way you study, and the time you want to take to complete your course overall. Our academic staff and supervisors will be in regular contact with you throughout your course, while online forums will keep you in touch with fellow students.
We’re an anchor institution for our community and beyond – making a difference to people’s lives and offering them opportunities for education and employment they would not otherwise have had.
That’s why we’re offering distance learning options for an increasing range of our courses – each of exactly the same academic standard as the on-campus equivalents.
University of East London Distance Learning, Support
Throughout your course, you’ll receive academic support, guidance and encouragement from module leaders and our administrative teams. You may not be physically present on campus, but we’ll treat you as if you were.
You’ll be able to appraise your progress with self-assessment questionnaires, and also receive regular assessments of your progress from your tutors.
As with all UEL students, you’ll have a personal tutor to guide you through your studies. You can ring in or send them queries via email, or talk to them via Skype if you prefer.
University of East London Distance Learning, Resources
As a distance learning student, you’ll be fully supported throughout your studies with a range of innovative online and remote services.
