The University offers on-site accommodation at Broadview Lodge and there is an Applicant Day discount of £50 per night for a single room bed and breakfast and £62 per night for a double/twin room bed and breakfast.

You can contact Broadview Lodge on 01603 591918 or visit their website.

Please also see Visit Norwich to search for local places to stay.

  • Completed Work Experience Form
  • Marriage certificate/change of name documentation (if applicable)

Can I bring my portfolio/additional references to the interview?

No, you are only required to bring the documentation we ask for. You will not be able to take any additional documents into the interview rooms.

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes you may bring someone with you, but they will not be able to accompany you into the interview. We will be happy to direct them to a cafe to wait. There is a limited amount of space in the Medicine Common Room.

What will the interview consist of?

It will be an OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) style interview, also known as a Multiple Mini Interview. There will be a series of seven rooms/stations. Candidates will circulate spending approximately 5 minutes at each station.

Where can I park?

Parking is limited on campus and we cannot guarantee that parking spaces will be available. We would advise that wherever possible candidates use alternative means of transport to attend their interview. However, if you choose to travel by car, please allow plenty of time to park. Please note that parking on the residential roads surrounding the University is restricted to residents only. We recommend that those travelling by car use the Costessey Park & Ride to the University takes only 10 minutes. Please see our Park and Ride webpage for further details.

Where do I need to go for my interview?

Your interview will be held in the Norwich Medical School which is situated just off Chancellors Drive on the main University Campus. For directions on getting here, please see our university campus map. The Norwich Medical School is marked as 43 on the map. Please note that the Norwich Medical School is not the Medical Centre (GP Surgery). On entering the building please turn right into the Common Room where you can wait.

What time should I arrive at my interview?

You will need to arrive at the Norwich Medical School at least 30 minutes before your interview time. You will need to register, provide the requested documents and then we will escort candidates to a briefing room before the interviews commence.

What should I do if I am running late for my interview?

We recommend that you leave plenty of time to arrive at the University for your interview. If you are running late or are delayed, it is very important you contact the Admissions Office on 01603 591072 as we only have a limited number of interview slots on each day.

Will there be a tour of campus?

We will try to arrange for one of our current medical students to conduct a tour of the University campus for applicants immediately after interview. We will confirm on the interview day if a guided tour is available. Otherwise you are welcome to take a self guided tour of campus; a downloadable guide is available from our Campus Tours pages.

Can I post information on social media sites?

We ask that you refrain from posting any details of the interview on social media sites as this may advantage future candidates.

We anticipate that you will not hear from us until the end of March after we have completed all interviews. Further information will be provided on the day of your interview.

Do you provide feedback if I am not successful in being offered a place on the course?

Due to the number of applications received, we are unfortunately not able to provide feedback.
