Open to international students, International College Dundee (ICD) offers an alternative way to begin an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at the University of Dundee – by focusing on the development of English language and university level study skills while acquiring core subject knowledge.

Why International College Dundee?

As an International College Dundee international student, you will begin your academic career by studying courses that develop language skills through subject study. This means that you acquire the concepts and knowledge needed for your degree, but also develop your language skills to a higher level before entering the main part of the degree.

You will be a University of Dundee student from the day you arrive on campus. You will have access to the same services and accommodation as other University of Dundee Students. The University has been ranked Scottish University of the Year for the last two years and is renowned for its academic results, friendly atmosphere, proximity to both a bustling city and picturesque countryside, and excellent student experience. According to a survey of our latest graduates, 95% were employed or embarking upon further education within six months of graduation.

As an International College Dundee student, you will also receive individual support and attention from your tutors as you focus on improving your academic and language skills.

What degrees can I study?

We offer two types of degree:

International Incorporated Bachelor’s

International Incorporated Master’s

Undergraduate students begin their studies with the International Stage One programme at ICD, where you can choose from a range of pathways including Art & Design, Business, Life & Biomedical Sciences, Engineering & Physical Sciences, and Social Studies – continuing your study into the University of Dundee.
