The Wellbeing Centre provides information and guidance to help you look after your wellbeing during your time at University.  Here, you can book appointments with our specialist advisers or contact the service through the dedicated helpline available during the week. There’s also a free counselling service and unique workshops that you can sign up to throughout the year

Opening Hours

The Student Wellbeing Centre is open slightly later during Term Time, closing at 7pm (Mon-Thurs), with last appointments at 6pm.

Term Time: 8:30am – 7pm, Mon-Thurs and until 4:30pm on Fridays

Non Term Time: 8:30am – 5pm, Mon-Thurs and until 4:30pm on Fridays

Charges:

There are no direct charges for our Student Wellbeing Centre service, but there may be charges for other University services we support.  These are:

£50.00 after a Specific Learning Difficulties test identifies you need an appointment

£5.00 for a replacement student ID card (unless you can provide a crime reference number for a stolen card)

£25.00 for a lost, 3-day Markeaton Park and Ride permit

£5.00 for change of vehicle details for 3-day Markeaton Park and Ride permit
