Your Student Centres are here to help you with a wide range of information, advice and guidance to support you through your studies and time with us, whether you’re a new student or returning into your next stage of study.

If you’re in any doubt about where you should go to find out about something, get in touch. If we don’t know the answer, we’ll be sure to help you find it!

There are two Student Centres at the Derby Campus, in the Atrium at Kedleston Road and on the Lower Ground floor of Britannia Mill.

We’re Here to Help Students With:

• Coursework and assignments (non e-submission)

• Car parking, travel and transport options for students

• Student Council tax exemption letters

• Initial student enrolment and fee queries

• Exceptional Extenuating Circumstances and Late Submission Request advice

• Joint Honours advice and access to support

• Finding and submitting forms

• Timetable queries

• Student confirmation letters for banks etc.

• Student Wellbeing appointments for:

– Dyslexia test booking

– Discretionary Support Fund and money advice

– Disability and wellbeing advisors

– Counselling

– Understanding the range of support services and booking appointments

Open Hours

Our Student Centre at Kedleston Road is open slightly later during term time, closing at 7.00pm (Monday-Thursday)

Britannia Mill (term time): 8.30am – 5.00pm, Monday-Thursday and until 4:30pm on Fridays

Kedleston Road (term time): 8.30am – 7.00pm, Monday-Thursday and until 4.30pm on Fridays

Non term time for both sites: 8.30am – 5.00pm, Monday-Thursday and until 4.30pm on Fridays
