Discover UCA

Open Days play a key role in helping you decide which course is right for you, and where you want to spend the next three or more years of your life.

We hold Open Days across our four creative campuses, where you’ll be able to explore our outstanding facilities, tour the campus and student accommodation, and meet staff and current students – helping you get a feel for what life at UCA is really like. You’ll also have the chance to receive expert portfolio advice, so you can make your application stand out from the crowd.

Upcoming Open Days

We usually run Open Days on the same days across all of our campuses, so you can visit the location where your course is based. Visit us and find out why we are the UK’s most creative university. A number of Open Days each year also have additional information for Postgraduate Study.

Open Days FAQs

Here are some questions we’re regularly asked about our Open Days. If you can’t find the answer you’re looking for here, please get in touch.

  • Do I need to book a place on an Open Day?

Yes – you should book your place in advance using our online booking forms.

  • Are the Open Days all on one campus?

No. We run Open Days on the same days at each of our campuses in Canterbury, Epsom, Farnham and Rochester. We also hold course talks at the Maidstone TV Studios for the BA (Hons) Television Production course.

  • How do I know which campus to attend?

We recommend you visit the campus that offers the course you’re most interested in. For a full list of the campuses and the courses they offer visit: uca.ac.uk/life-at-uca

  • What if I’m interested in courses on different campuses?

We have lots of Open Days throughout the year, especially between September and December, so you can visit as many campuses as you like. However if this isn’t possible for you, we’ll try to answer any questions you may have about courses offered at our other campuses when you visit us.

As well as the opportunity to find out about a particular course, our Open Days will also give you the chance to get lots of general information about UCA as a whole.

  • Will I get an Open Day programme?

You’ll be able to pick up a copy of the Open Day programme on the day or alternatively you can download a copy in advance from the open day event page.
