A Library at each campus…

The Library collections include a wide range of resources to help support you in your studies. Not only do we have an impressive selection of books, journals and DVDs, we also have special collections focused on animation, photography and arts activism, to name but a few. In each Library there is a Gateway Desk where you will find someone to help point you in the right direction.

We are committed to supporting our students using the Library’s computing (ICT) facilities to ensure they gain the maximum benefit from these services.

We aim to achieve this by:

  • trouble-shooting problems
  • providing front-line technical support
  • supporting your use of the Macs and PCs within the Library
  • assisting you with the use of digital media and word processing/presentation software
  • helping you to produce and present your work
  • supporting you using the Library’s printing, photocopying, scanning facilities
  • providing colour printer paper for use if you need it
  • trouble-shooting UCA account issues
  • referring any issues you have, which cannot be solved immediately, to the relevant people
  • helping you to connect to the University’s WIFI
  • supporting you in using the e-learning services

The ICT advisers at the Gateway are available to help with in all of these areas and more. Contact us via the main Gateway numbers listed below.
