About UCA Farnham

Farnham is a bustling, creative market town in Surrey, full of striking Georgian architecture, bohemian bars and quirky shops. Just under an hour by train to central London, it’s the ideal place to study. You have all the space you need to reflect and create, within easy reach of the capital’s must-see galleries, exhibitions and industry contacts.

Our students love Farnham. With over 2,000 students and on-campus accommodation, it has an incredibly strong close-knit community and friendly feel.

As well as a variety of exceptional facilities and workspaces, there are a number of research centres based on campus, including the Centre for Sustainable Design and the Crafts Study Centre. Our James Hockey and Foyer galleries host a range of exhibitions by visiting artists as well as UCA staff, students and graduates.

Farnham is perfectly located. Accessible by train, car, plane and on foot, you can get about with ease.

The Georgian buildings in Castle Street are an idyllic setting for a vast selection of eateries, offering options for every budget and exclusive student deals.

From fry-ups to fine dining, you’re spoilt for choice. Farnham has roots in the brewery trade, so it’s no wonder that there are over 50 pubs to choose from and plenty within walking distance of the campus.
