Clearing Success Stories at University for the Creative Arts (UCA)

BA (Hon) Fashion Management and Marketing, Epsom

I joined UCA via Clearing as I did not meet the grade for my first choice university, although at the time UCA was already my second choice.

I decided to contact UCA through Clearing as I had already researched the uni before I made my UCAS application. It seemed like a uni that was up and coming, and the course structure really pulled me in.

The process of going through Clearing was relatively smooth, in spite of the fact that, at the time, I was quite stressed and disappointed for not making my expected grades. However, I would highly recommend Clearing it to others as I am very happy with the university of my choice.

I have found my course extremely fun and informative and would recommend it to anyone who wanted to go into the same industry. The most enjoyable thing is probably the group projects and research trips into London – trips that have really help expand my thoughts and ideas on fashion in relation to the outside world.

  • One piece of advice I would give to students considering Clearing is to not dwell on the past. What has been done has been done, and it is much more efficient to just move forward.
