The UCL School of Pharmacy is one of the most highly rated pharmacy schools in the UK. As the oldest School, founded by the Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain in 1842, it has over 174 years of experience and tradition throughout which it has retained its identity as a specialist institution dedicated to teaching and research in pharmacy and the pharmaceutical sciences. Our new undergraduate MPharm degree programme was fully accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) in 2013. Postgraduate Research

UCL School of Pharmacy was recognised as providing a world class research environment, being 100% 4* rated in the recent 2014 REF. The MRes degree and MPhil programmes provide students with a unique opportunity to participate in world leading research at the School of Pharmacy. We also offer a Doctoral Training programme as well as a joint programme with Nottingham, the CDT in Advanced Therapeutic and Nanomedicines.

Professional Development

In addition to our course for Qualified Person course, we offer a range of flexible part-time taught postgraduate programmes geared towards the needs of pharmacists, doctors and nurses in clinical practice. At present, we offer: Certificate in Medicines Management for Pharmacy Technicians (CMMPT), the Pharmacy Practice (PG Dip) and the Advanced Pharmacy Practice (MSc).
