University College Birmingham comprises three sites – Summer Row, McIntyre House and Richmond House – all within a short walking distance, in the heart of the city centre. Each site has its own distinct character, student services and specialist teaching facilities.

Several major roads lead into Birmingham City Centre. The M6/A38 (M) or M5/A46 arrive from the North. The best route from London is via the M40/M42/A45 or M1/M6/A38 (M). From the South West, the M5/A456 route is often the quickest.
Please note that there are currently major roadworks being carried out in Birmingham city centre, which may affect your journey.
Due to our unique city centre location car parking space is limited. There are no student car parking spaces on the campus with the exception of a space for the mobility impaired. However, there are several Pay and Display car parks in close proximity to the College. The nearest car parks to the university are:
Birmingham New Street Station is served by a fast Intercity link from London Euston and is just a few minutes walk from the College. Birmingham Snow Hill and Birmingham Moor Street welcome trains from London Marylebone. The journey by fast train from London takes 90 minutes. Trains from other cities and towns arrive frequently into Birmingham.
Coach services run frequently to Birmingham Central Coach Station from all major towns, cities and airports.
Our city centre location makes us easy to reach by bus from all parts of the city and throughout the West Midlands.
