University Of Chichester Bishop Otter Campus
The main campus (Bishop Otter) is situated at College Lane, Chichester and is set in surroundings which include historic buildings and modern facilities. It is a five-minute walk from Chichester city centre. The famous Chichester Festival Theatre is housed adjacent to the campus.
The campus is currently ( as of 2014) part way through major redevelopment to improve key facilities.Some of the developments include: construction of a sports dome, chapel extension, courtyard, Sports Hall and Gym refurbishment, as well as major development work on the Library (LRC).
The Learning Resources Centre (LRC) is equipped with three floors of library resources and is an award-winning, modern facility. The Otter Gallery is within the LRC and runs public art exhibitions and workshops throughout the year.
Our Bishop Otter Campus in Chichester is approximately 16 miles east of Portsmouth, 35 miles west of Brighton and about 60 miles south of London.
There are excellent road links to both Chichester and Bognor Regis.

Car parking between 8.00am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, is restricted to vehicles displaying a valid student permit and relevant scratch card, staff permit and relevant scratch card, day visitor permit, or pay and display ticket. There is a charge for overnight parking (between the hours of 02.00 and 06.00) for which a permit is required. Car parking between 8.00am and 5.00pm Saturday and Sunday is free of charge.
The University employs a registered external agent to enforce the car parking regulations on University owned land and to collect all penalty charges that are due.

Gatwick Airport has flights to all international destinations and it’s approximately 1hr 15mins by road or 1hr by rail.
Heathrow Airport is the UK’s busiest airport, and like Gatwick it has connections to all international locations. It is 1hr 45 mins by road. By train you will need to go into central London and change onto the Underground. Check National Rail Enquiries for details.
Southampton Airport is our closest airport at only 45 mins away by car. This airport has regular flights from all over the UK and Europe, as well as flights to some international destinations.
