What are your entry requirements?

Typically, entry requirements for our combined honours degrees range from 240-280 points and 260-300 points for our single honours degrees.  Please refer to the course pages on our website for individual course entry requirements.

Examples of offers:

If you are studying 4 A Levels or 3 A Levels and 1 AS Level and have applied for Single Honours Psychology, then your typical offer would be 300 points, including grades BBC.

If you are studying 3 A Levels and have already achieved an AS Level at grade C, then your offer would be to achieve grades BBC (we have allowed 20 points achieved from your AS Level to make up the typical 300 point offer).

Examples of equivalent qualifications:

  • Scottish Highers – BBBB
  • Welsh Baccalaureate – PASS  plus two A-levels (grades CC-BC)
  • International Baccalaureate –  26-28 points overall
  • Access to HE Diploma with merit/distinction grades in specified units
  • BTEC/OCR/QCF National Diploma- DIST, DIST, MERIT

We receive a large number of enquiries about our entry criteria and the offers we make so we understand this isn’t always easy to understand.  If you aren’t clear about an offer you may have received, please don’t hesitate to contact our undergraduate admissions team.  We are always happy to help.
